Chef Charles is back again, this time utilizing his vast meat knowledge to educate us about the world of wild game, which is both fascinating and trending.  It can be divided up into 3 main categories:  Winged Game, Ground Game, and Big Game.  We will use whatever we can get our hands on in this class that utilizes unique game meats to make delicious every day recipes packed with flavor.  We will even show how to break down rabbit from it’s whole form. You can expect dishes such as Rabbit Paella, Wild Boar Ragu, and Elk Fajitas.  This class just comes around one time per year so you better get this ticket now!  What a way to celebrate a cold winter, recipes that stick to the bones, and the food this land was founded on!  *The recipes in this class may change depending on meat and game availability.

COVID 19 UPDATE: At this time we are planning to switch this class from an in-person format to a virtual platform.  You will pick up your kit from The Cookery on Monday 11/30 or Tues 12/1 and log in on our Facebook page to follow along with our tutorial with Chef Charles, Coordinator of Culinary Arts at ICC.  Same great lesson, just in a live virtual format.  We really hope that everyone can join us that way until we can resume for in-person classes!  This is the way that we can keep going!  Your kit will be enough to make 3 of the wild game dishes, each serving 2 persons for a total of 6 meals.  We are still working on which items will be in the kit and we will update as soon as we know what is available. 

 

Our classes are popular and often sell out!  Only Rainchecks will be issued for this class at this time, no refunds.  There will be a processing fee to cancel your ticket per person no matter when you cancel. You can cancel by calling the school at 309-263-6020 or by emailing Amanda your request to cancel at thecookeryinc@gmail.com.  Tickets canceled less than 2 days before or on the day of class will not receive a refund for ANY REASON.  You may gift your tickets to someone else but we will not refund or forward them to a future class if you cannot attend.

If you have a card board gift card with a 3-digit number and want to redeem it for this class, you must call or email to reserve your class spot prior to the class selling out.  If you reserve your spot with a gift card and do not show, you will forfeit the amount owed for the class from your gift card.  If your gift card has a 16-digit code, you can cash it in online when your purchase your ticket.
