Most of us are barred from travel right now- but that doesn’t mean you can’t take your taste buds on a trip! In this workshop, we’ll be heading to the south- specifically Louisiana. You’ll learn the techniques to make two classic dishes: Muffaletta (a sandwich with several Italian types of meat and olive tapenade, pretty much one of the best sammies in existence) and Blackened Shrimp with Sweet Potato and Gouda Grits. We’ll even wash all that down with some pralines!  Even if you’ve never been to New Orleans, or never even had these dishes, you’ll be a master at them by the end of your lesson and have a great meal at home with all the flair of New Orleans!

Just pre-order your kit (which serves 3-4 this time around) any time before May 22nd, then pick up the supplies at The Cookery on Friday May 22nd from 12pm-2pm.  Just give us a call when you are on your way!  Then tune in to our page Facebook Live on May 23rd at 5PM until 6:30ISH and Chef Amanda will walk you through your in-depth tutorial! Best of all, this is an experience to share with family. Instead of this being a time of struggle, we are using it as a time to explore new ways to serve our community.
