August 18 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm$45
It’s already getting super hot in the Midwest! Summers here are so warm and humid, you would swear you’re on a tropical island. While you may not be able to go to Hawaii right now, you can still eat like you’re there! Come pretend you’re on a fabulous island vacation with The Cookery’s next virtual class: Hawaiian! In this virtual workshop, we’ll make Teriyaki Chicken Kabobs with the best house made teriyaki sauce and of course the perfect threading techniques, Pineapple Salsa made from real fruit and not that canned stuff, and Coconut Island Rice. We are even including a surprise dessert in the kit for the complete perfect meal! You’ll learn a variety of techniques and skills, and eat well, too! Enjoy your stay-cation at home with food that will make you feel like you’re at a real Luau.
Just pre-order your kit (which serves 4 or more this time around) any time before August 17th at 8PM, then pick up the supplies at The Cookery on August 18th. We have two pick up times available: either 8am-12pm or 2:30pm-4pm on the 18th. Please avoid the 12-2:30 time slot, as we will be in class! Just give us a call when you are on your way! Then tune in to our page Facebook Live at 5 on August 18th and one of the Cookery chefs will walk you through your in-depth tutorial! Our lessons usually last for about an hour and a half to two hours, but this can vary slightly. Best of all, this is an experience to share with family. Thank you all for continuing to support The Cookery during this time. If you love Virtual Classes, we will keep doing them! The Cookery aims to serve the community however we can during this time.
