The Amazing Egg…. pastas, desserts, crepes….we all need eggs.

Eggs, not just for breakfast!

The egg is a seemingly humble product, but is actually one of the most versatile ingredients in any kitchen. Breakfast? Eggs. Souffle? Eggs. Meringue? Eggs. Hollandaise? Eggs. Pasta? Eggs. And the list goes on and on! The egg is irreplaceable in so many dishes, and for that reason it is the favorite ingredients of many chefs. In short…they’re incredible. In this class, we’ll make dishes that show off the versatility of the egg, and highlight it’s luscious flavor. We’ll make a Southwest Eggs Benedict with Perfectly Poached Eggs, Egg Fried Rice, Macrons with Raspberry Filling, Scratch Made Fettuccine Carbonara, Pumpkin Cupcakes with Torched Meringue Frosting, Goat Cheese and Red Pepper Quiche, Crepes filled with Vanilla Pastry Cream and Berries, and more! Come learn how to get more out of eggs than you ever imagined!

Class ending times may vary. Please wear closed-toed shoes and wear your hair up off your shoulders.  Bring your favorite knife and a beverage to drink if you wish. You can bring adult beverages if you’d like. We will provide knives if you do not have them.  We will also provide aprons. We will have filtered water to drink.

Our classes are popular and often sell out!  You must cancel your registration at least 7 days in advance to receive a full refund for this class.  There will be a processing fee to cancel your ticket per person no matter when you cancel. You can cancel by calling the school at 309-263-6020 or by emailing us your request to cancel at thecookeryinc@gmail.com.  Tickets canceled the day before or on the day of class will not receive a refund for any reason.  You may gift or sell your tickets to someone else if you are not able to come but we cannot forward them to another class.

If you have a cardboard gift card with a 3-digit number and want to redeem it for this class, you must call or email to reserve your class spot prior to the class selling out.  If you reserve your spot with a gift card and do not show, you will forfeit the amount owed for the class from your gift card. If your gift card has a 16-digit code, you can cash it in online when you purchase your ticket.
