Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice

Most people don’t know that the spices and herbs in their cabinet actually expire! If you are letting them get to that point, there’s a chance you may need some advice on how to best use them. We’ve got all the tips on dry spices, fresh herbs (and ways to freeze them,) making your own mixes, sweet and savory spices, and even how to add them to things like compound butters! We’ll educate you on all of the things you can do with spices to elevate your dishes from boring to an explosion of flavor! We will even utilize dry whole spices by roasting and grinding them. Then of course we are using spices to elevate our dishes for an amazing dinner that includes dips, marinated meats and meats in our meat rubs, spiced cocktails, roasted veggies, and of course dessert! Spices equal flavor – but that doesn’t have to mean spicy! Get in here and spice up your life!
Please wear closed-toed shoes. Bring your favorite knife and a beverage to drink if you wish. We will provide you with knives if you do not have them. We will also provide aprons. We will have bottled water to drink. You may bring adult beverages if you wish.
This class is unique and is sure to sell out! You must cancel your registration at least 5 days in advance to receive a refund for this class.
