In general, salads have a pretty bad rap. They can be so much more than just lettuce, potatoes with mayo, or boring diet food. In fact, the Midwest seems determined to call anything a “salad.” Strawberries, pretzels, cream cheese? Yep- that’s a salad. In this class, we’ll have new inspiration for salad dishes for your next holiday gathering or friendly BBQ! We’re on a mission to prove that salads are much more than boring diet food and can delicious and craveable. We’ll make salads such as: Greek Orzo Salad, Golden Beets and Goat Cheese Salad, Strawberry Fields Salad, Quinoa and Fruit Salad, Asian Noodle Salad, Southwest Chicken Salad, Radicchio, Fennel, and Olive Panzanella, and Salmon Salad with Mango Vinaigrette. Some of these sensational salads can even stand as a main dish. Yum! We’re keeping it light and tasty with these recipes that are just perfect for the upcoming spring and summer seasons!
Class ending times may vary. Please wear closed-toed shoes and wear your hair up off your shoulders. Bring your favorite knife and a beverage to drink if you wish. You can bring adult beverages if you’d like. We will provide knives if you do not have them. We will also provide aprons. We will have filtered water to drink.
