Little Ladies: Princess High Tea

Have you ever been to a tea room? There aren’t too many here in the states, but in both European and Asian countries, they still remain quite popular. There are casual ones that you can grab a quick afternoon tea and lunch at, and there are super fancy ones. The really good ones are the picture of elegance: Adorable little bites of food, cute decor, posh atmosphere, and of course, great tea! We thought this would be the exact things that little girls would be into, especially if we put a Disney spin on it! We are making little treats from the Disney Princess movies, that your little princesses are sure to love. We’ll make Pocahontas’ Corn Pancakes, Merida’s Raspberry Meringues, Cinderella Chicken Salad, Belle’s French Omelet, Ariel’s Under the Sea Cucumber Sandwiches, Jasmine’s Fruit and Yogurt Dip, and Tianna’s Beignets. Of course, we’ll serve a tea that the little girls will love: Pink Chai tea! What little girl wouldn’t love this party?? It’s all things girly and adorable, and we’re sure your little princess will be talking about it for years to come! Costumes welcome and encouraged!  All the princesses are welcome in our castle!

Please indicate the age of your child (children) in the comment sections so we can make sure that their recipes are age appropriate. Class ending times may vary. Please wear closed-toed shoes and wear your hair up off your shoulders.  Bring your favorite knife and a beverage to drink if you wish. We will provide knives if you do not have them. We will also provide aprons. We will have filtered water to drink.

Our classes are popular and often sell out!  You must cancel your registration at least 7 days in advance to receive a full refund for this class.  There will be a processing fee to cancel your ticket per person no matter when you cancel. You can cancel by calling the school at 309-263-6020 or by emailing us your request to cancel at amanda@thecookeryinc.com.  Tickets canceled the day before or on the day of class will not receive a refund.

If you have a cardboard gift card with a 3-digit number and want to redeem it for this class, you must call or email to reserve your class spot prior to the class selling out.  If you reserve your spot with a gift card and do not show, you will forfeit the amount owed for the class from your gift card. If your gift card has a 16-digit code, you can cash it in online when you purchase your ticket.
