Kids Cooking: Spooktacular Halloween Treats

Trick or Treat and smell my feet, cook something good to eat!  Let’s liven up our typical Halloween bash and have some hands on fun this year! In this class, the kids will be making both sweet and savory recipes that will look spooky-awesome, and maybe even a little creepy on your Halloween buffet table!  Each group will also get to dip caramel apples and decorate them as they wish with assorted candies!  We are also making treats such as: Cocopuff “Brains”, Witches Toes, Yummy Mummies, Jack O Lantern Sandwiches, Zombie Chili, Breadstick Bones with Marrow-nara Sauce, Spiderweb Cupcakes and Witches Wicked Punch! You don’t want to miss this frightfully fun class full of Halloween goodies! Let’s have a happy, safe, and spooky Halloween!

Costumes welcomed and encouraged!

Please indicate the age of your child (children) in the comment sections so we can make sure that their recipes are age appropriate. Class ending times may vary. Please wear closed-toed shoes and wear your hair up off your shoulders.  Bring your favorite knife and a beverage to drink if you wish. We will provide knives if you do not have them. We will also provide aprons. We will have filtered water to drink.

Our classes are popular and often sell out!  You must cancel your registration at least 7 days in advance to receive a full refund for this class.  There will be a processing fee to cancel your ticket per person no matter when you cancel. You can cancel by calling the school at 309-263-6020 or by emailing us your request to cancel at amanda@thecookeryinc.com.  Tickets cancelled the day before or on the day of class will not receive a refund.

If you have a card board gift card with a 3-digit number and want to redeem it for this class, you must call or email to reserve your class spot prior to the class selling out.  If you reserve your spot with a gift card and do not show, you will forfeit the amount owed for the class from your gift card. If your gift card has a 16-digit code, you can cash it in online when your purchase your ticket.
