Kid’s Cooking: French Cuisine
July 26 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm$25 - $60
We do a lovely French class for adult date night all the time. Grand Mariner, Filet Mignon, Red Wine, Gruyere Cheese…it’s the picture of decadence. However, that menu isn’t exactly kid friendly. We’ve decide to take the French classics, and make them appropriate for kids! With developments in technology and resources, kids are more interested than ever in other countries and cultures. This is a great class to teach them how our friends in France get to eat! We’ll introduce them to yummy dishes such as: Dessert Crepes with Berry Compote, Croque Monsieur, Gougeres, Madelines, Profiteroles, Savory Crepes filled with Chicken in Bechamel Sauce, Fromage Fort, and a Citron Presse to wash everything down! Even if you have picky eaters, you’d be surprised at the things kids will eat if they have made it with their own hands. Did a few of those dishes sound unfamiliar? We’ll bet that you’ll learn just as much as your kiddos!
Please indicate the age of your child (children) in the comment sections so we can make sure that their recipes are age appropriate. Class ending times may vary. Please wear closed-toed shoes and wear your hair up off your shoulders. Bring your favorite knife and a beverage to drink if you wish. We will provide knives if you do not have them. We will also provide aprons. We will have filtered water to drink.
