Kids Cooking ~ Brunch Section II

Adults attend class with children in this workshop.  Ages 12-16 may come without an adult but must still purchase the $60 ticket.  Please let us know if your child is coming alone or if you are meeting another group at class in the comment section when you purchase your ticket.  Please tell us the age of your child.

Breakfast may be the most important meal of the day, but Brunch is definitely the trendiest. We’ve taken the dining trend that has absolutely exploded the last few years and made a kid friendly version! In this class the kids will learn to elevate their first meal of the day from boxed cereal to amazing dishes like Smore’s Pancakes with Marshmallow Fluff Syrup, Candied Bacon, English Muffin Pizzas with Gravy, Southwestern Breakfast Burritos, Chicken Bacon and Ranch Pinwheels, Stuffed French Toast, Waffles with Apple Compote, and Ham and Cheese Paninis!  We will even teach several egg cooking techniques including poached, shirred, sunny side up, over easy and over medium.  Move over Breakfast, it’s time for BRUNCH!

Please wear closed-toed shoes.  Bring your favorite knife and a beverage to drink if you wish.  We will provide you and your children knives if you do not have them.  We will also provide aprons.  We will have filtered water to drink.

Kid’s classes are very popular and usually sell out.  You must cancel your registration at least 5 days in advance to receive a full refund for this class.  You can cancel by calling the school at 309-263-6020 or by emailing us your request to cancel at amanda@thecookeryinc.com

Class ending times may vary due to awesome cooking skills learned during this class.
