Cuisine of India
August 17, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm$55
Did you know that India is the largest producer of spices in the whole world! And most people wouldn’t know how to use many of them! We’ve all had a good curry, but how much do you really know about Indian food? Time to test your taste buds! In this workshop, we will explore the unique spices, flavors and techniques of India in this class that showcases traditional favorites. Tikka Masala, Kachumbar (tomato & cucumber salad), Mulligatawny Soup, Carrot Rice, Indian Chapati Bread, Tandoori Chicken, Beef Samosas, and Kulfi Ice Cream are among the recipes. Let us prove to you that just because a recipe has a lot of spices, doesn’t make it spicy!
Please wear closed-toed shoes. Bring your favorite knife and a beverage to drink if you wish. We will provide you with knives if you do not have them. We will also provide aprons. We will have bottled water to drink. You may bring adult beverages if you wish.
