Clean eating isn’t just a trend, it can be a way of life if you let it be! Eating clean is a good way to refresh your eating habits: it’s about eating more of the best and healthiest options in each of the food groups—and eating less of the not-so-healthy ones. That means embracing whole foods like vegetables, fruits and whole grains, plus healthy proteins and fats. It also means cutting back on refined grains, added sugars, salt and unhealthy fats. In this class, we will not only discuss tips on how to eat clean, but also introduce several super foods that can help you bring your diet full circle. No processed foods in these recipes! We are fighting cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease with delicious recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Recipes include: Pumpkin Spiced Oatmeal, Quinoa Salad with Asparagus, Dates and Orange, Cabbage and Kale Salad with Sunflower Seeds, Bacon and Dried Cranberries, Goat Cheese and Beet Napoleon with Citrus Vinaigrette and Pistachios, Greek Yogurt Chicken Salad, Banana Peanut Butter Flax Sushi, Chia Crisp Crackers with Avocado Dip, just to name a few! Please wear closed-toed shoes. Bring your favorite knife and a beverage to drink if you wish. We will provide you with knives if you do not have them. We will also provide aprons. We will have bottled water to drink. You may bring adult beverages if you wish.
