Clean Eating: Easy Plant-Based Food
October 8 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm$35 - $55
A great class for adults and teens age 12 and up.
Many people are try to eat healthy, lose weight, or just help their bodies feel better. We do a ton of “diet” classes here at The Cookery, and have found what works for most people. If you’re looking for a “diet” that is super easy to follow, a clean eating diet is the way to go. The main premise of the diet is to eat very little processed food- meaning just real food! The diet embraces eating mostly vegetables, but that doesn’t have to mean that the food doesn’t taste good! In this class we’ll prove that healthy, plant based food can be delicious and down right craveable. We’ll make dishes such as: Eggroll in a Bowl, Veggie Taco Salad, Cassava Waffles, Sweet Potato Pie Smoothie, Potato Caesar Salad, Dairy and Gluten Free Mac and Cheese, Butternut Squash Lasagna, Miso Lentil Burgers, and Chocolate Cherry “Nice Cream.” You won’t feel like you’re eating healthy, but your body will thank you!
COVID 19 UPDATE: At this time we are asking all students to wear a mask to class. We will be taking temperatures at the door, as well as providing hand sanitizer upon your arrival. If you have any symptoms, have been around someone with symptoms, or have traveled outside the country recently we are asking that you please stay home. You may call to cancel your ticket, and we will issue a credit to be used on a future class. Thank you for supporting us during this challenging time! We will do our best to make our classes as educational and fun as ever.
Class ending times may vary. Please wear closed-toed shoes and wear your hair up off your shoulders. Bring your favorite knife and a beverage to drink if you wish. You can bring adult beverages if you’d like. We will provide knives if you do not have them. We will also provide aprons. We will have filtered water to drink.
